Listening

The IELTS listening part, equivalent to the academic and general training tests, includes four sections of 10 questions each. Total section timing is 30 minutes, and learners are provided an additional 10 minutes to fill out their answer sheets.

Speaking

The IELTS speaking part is also the same for academic and extensive training. Test-takers will be controlled to a live interview posted for later assessment on this part of the IELTS. The speaking paper has a three-part building that serves for a total of 11-14 minutes.

Reading

The IELTS academic and standard training tests each have their examination papers. The main distinction between the two is the subject of the study passages. The academic study paper features three learned texts, while the general training reading part includes 5-6 readers, most of which are shorter and designed for wider readerships.

Writing

The IELTS writing paper is also different to one version of the test or the other, although they become a big deal in common. On both versions, learners are given one hour to finish two separately timed writing tasks. The first writing task (20 minutes) is deserving half as much as the second (40 minutes), and all essays are assessed according to related assessment criteria.

IELTS Language Training

The IELTS Academic module is intended for learners who wish to study in English speaking universities at either degree level or postgraduate master or PhD level. It is also used by those wanting to work in particular professions, such as medicine or dentistry—the General Training Module.
